The crew of the "Gaïa" welcomes you for a 3-hour gastronomic cruise on the Tarn aboard a 1927 hotel barge.

CRUISE PROGRAM:
- Boarding at 11:30 at Port Canal Montauban
- Aperitif (optional) and meal served on the terrace
- Gourmet menu (starter, main course, dessert)
- Return around 2:30 PM to Port Canal Montauban.

Comfortably seated on our sun deck, you'll enjoy a 360° view of the river. Parasols and sun loungers are available to protect you from the sun or to relax in after your meal.

This boat trip on the wild Tarn River will allow you to admire herons, kingfishers, egrets, and cormorants through the binoculars we provide. Four lock passages (two double locks) will be part of the adventure.

You will be welcomed by Captain Nicolas Périé and his crew member, who will ensure your comfort throughout this cruise. Those interested can enjoy anecdotes about key moments in the history of river navigation on the Tarn and the barge Gaïa. Those who wish to do so can even learn how to drive the barge, under the watchful eye of the Captain.

Binoculars and spotting scopes for birdwatching are available for loan (included).
Sun loungers are available (included, 6 available).
Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available for purchase on site by credit card or cash.
Payment on board the boat by credit card only upon boarding.

Note: The ticket and meal must be paid for in full by credit card on site on the day of the cruise.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- Boarding opens 15 minutes before departure.
- Cruise available from April 1st to October 31st, except in cases of force majeure (lock closure, poor navigation conditions, mechanical breakdown, health restrictions). It is possible to create a time slot upon request by calling Nicolas Perie at 0671074224 .

Please note: The cruise may be cancelled if the number of passengers is less than 5. If this happens, we will notify you no later than the day before the cruise. You will then have the choice of either postponing your visit to another date aboard the Gaïa barge, or taking a 2-hour lunch cruise aboard the electric lounge boat "Daphné" in the heart of Montauban with a maximum of 4 passengers. The meals offered will be the same as those served on board the Gaïa.
