Day 1 - Montauban -> Montech

9 a.m. We welcome you to the Montauban Canal Port where you can park your vehicles in the port's closed, video-monitored car park. Boarding the Gaïa Hotel Barge, a former Dutch cargo ship from 1927 converted into a comfortable sailing hotel barge.

9:30 a.m. Departure from the Montauban Canal Port under the command of our Captain and breakfast while sailing served on the sun deck by our "matelotesse".

Stopover at the Chez Gabriel restaurant, located in an old lock keeper's house and with a beautiful shaded terrace

Resumption of upbound navigation towards Montech. Those who wish will be able to take charge of the "macaron" (wheel of a river self-propelled boat) and pilot the boat under the supervision of the Captain.

3:30 p.m. ~ 5:00 p.m. Arrival at the Barge Hotel pontoon in Montech

Free time. Possibility of walking in the pretty village of Montech or visiting the Museum of the Water Slope of Montech , (unusual work intended to short-circuit a chain of 5 locks and to allow the passage of boats of size "Freycinet") , accessible on foot or by bike just 1.3km from the boat.

Evening meal at Bistrot Constant , a real institution installed in a former canal guard house and now run by Chef Christophe Marque. If you feel like it, you can even compete in pétanque on the establishment's bowling alley!

Day 2 - Montech -> Montauban

Full breakfast prepared by our hostess at the time of your choice.

If it is a Tuesday or Sunday, it is market day in Montech. You can therefore make your choice for a gourmet picnic to enjoy before or during the navigation to Montauban.

Possibility of tasting local cheeses and wines as a meal with our partner Laurent from the Fromagerie de Montech .

Departure for navigation no later than 2:30 p.m. and descent from the 9 locks. Possibility of disembarking in certain locks to walk alongside the boat in an area with very close locks.

6:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m. Arrival at the Montauban Canal Port pontoon.

Tea, coffee, infusions and cold non-alcoholic drinks are available at will during your stay on board. A wine cellar and a selection of spirits are also at your disposal (additional charge, see on-board drinks menu).

Once disembarked, we will accompany you to the parc ferme so that you can collect your vehicles. We can also organize transport for you by taxi or vtc from Montauban Villebourbon station.

It is also possible to opt for an additional night at the dock, in Montauban before or in Castelsarrasin after the cruise (subject to availability).

50% deposit upon reservation. Free cancellation up to 15 days before departure. Balance payable at least 3 days before departure by credit card or bank transfer. In the event of cancellation less than 15 days before departure, 25% of the reservation will be retained by Compagnie Mluviale du Midi. In the event of cancellation less than 3 days before departure, 50% of the reservation will be retained by Compagnie Mluviale du Midi.
