A river experience to enjoy with family or friends for a maximum of 12 people.

9:00 AM We welcome you to the Montauban Canal Port where you can park your vehicles in the port's secure, video-monitored parking lot. Boarding on board the Gaïa Hotel Barge, a former Dutch freighter from 1927 converted into a comfortable cruising hotel barge.

9:15 Departure from the Port Canal of Montauban under the command of our Captain and coffee/tea and pastries served while sailing on the sun deck by our sailor.

Navigation upstream and upstream passage through the 9 locks of the Montech Canal.

12:45 Stopover at the Péniches Hôtels pontoon in front of the Bistrot Constant or La Belle Équipe restaurant, located in a former canal guardhouse and run by Chef Christophe Marques (Reservation made by you).

2:45 PM Resumption of downstream navigation towards Montauban. Those who wish to do so will be able to take charge of the "macaron" (wheel of a river self-propelled boat) and pilot the boat under the supervision of the Captain between Montech and Lacourt Saint-Pierre.

Return navigation and descent of the 9 locks of the Montech Canal with beverage service (tea/coffee, mineral waters, juices and sodas).

6:30pm Arrival at the Montauban Canal Port and disembarkation of passengers.

Dinner at Bistrot Constant , a true institution housed in a former canal keeper's cottage and now run by Chef Christophe Marque. If you're so inclined, you can even challenge each other to a game of pétanque on the establishment's boules court!

Once you have disembarked, we will escort you to the secure parking area so you can collect your vehicles. We can also arrange taxi or private car transport for you from Montauban Villebourbon train station.

Fixed price for the cruise (from 1 to 12 passengers).

A 50% deposit is required upon booking. Free cancellation up to 3 days before departure. The balance is payable at least 3 days before departure by credit card or bank transfer. In case of cancellation less than 3 days before departure, 50% of the booking will be retained by Compagnie Mluviale du Midi.
